Good morning and happy Monday - the last of April! Last week, we had our annual company meeting - always a good time - and there was A LOT of talk about how amazing of a community we have. So THANK YOU all for making our community what it is! Here's this week's digest:

You don't want to miss the Announcing:  Developer Office Hours for Web Data Connector this Wednesday at 10:00 PDT. Ask the developers who created the WDC whatever you'd like. Already have a couple questions you'd like to see them answer? Post it to the above thread.

Were you able to make it to Think Data Thursday: State of the Unions with Joshua Milligan? If not, the recording is now up - you'll definitely want to check it out!

Check out this post by Tableau Ambassador and Zen Master, Jeffrey Shaffer, on 5 Tips on Designing Colorblind-Friendly Visualizations | Tableau Software.

Two people received the "Questions for Breakfast" badge, meaning that 25 or more of their responses have been marked as correct. Both Tharashasank Davuluru  and Andrew Watson have been helping people get their problems solved. Tharashasank joined the community this past December and has been continuously working his way through achieving each "correct" answer badge. Andrew has been a member of the community since 2012 and has been coming in and out of the community since sharing some great nuggets of content. Thank you both for all you do for the Tableau Community!

Most Talked About Thread

eliza suzuki had a question about finding the MAX Value across dates. After going back and forth with Joe Oppelt and The specified item was not found. to get to the root of the issue. G Marc Turner explained that her original calculations were table calculations and not LOD expressions which is why she was having some issues. He then, provided two calculations that do use LOD expressions and solved the issue for Eliza in on fell swoop!

In 2014, Mary Solbrig posted ESRI Shapefile importer: R. Since then, it has received 87 replies, and Mary is always engaged answering questions people have about it. Definitely, a fantastic post that is worth checking out if you use R or are thinking about how you can use R with Tableau.

Top Voted Idea

Three ideas received 6 up votes this week - having them all tie for 1st place. First, Multi-Values Parameters created by Loic Grange giving it a total of 856 votes. Having a background picture in a dashboard (requires transparent chart areas)  created by Geert Janssen now has 60 votes. And finally, Shawn Wallwork's idea Stop Changing Filters & Colors When Replacing Data Source has 176 votes (I'm really hoping for this one )
