Happy Monday and happy Patriot's Day everyone! I hope you've had a wonderful weekend. We've got a busy week at Tableau with our internal Sales Kick-Off happening this week in Seattle. As such, you might see a bit less of the team than you normally would. And now, to commemorate Paul Revere's Ride on this day in 1775, let's ride on into this week's digest (perfect transition).

We have some great new content for you! Some ultra-brilliant writer by the name Diego medrano wrote a Tableau Online blog explaining the differences between connection types available to Tableau Online users. Tableau Online Tips: Extracts, Live Connections, & Cloud Data | Tableau Software

We also have 5 Tableau Shortcuts You Might Have Missed | Tableau Software.

Finally, we have a piece of content that has been in the works for quite some time: Tableau Server: Everybody's Install Guide! We'd love to hear your thoughts Re: Tableau Server: Everybody's Install Guide.

Don't forget to submit your applications to apply at TC16 - Austin, this year! Here's the application: Oh, and did I mention, if you're selected you get a free ticket?

Congrats to Sharad Adhikari, Corey Turner, Ivan Young, and Venkata Dantuluri for achieving the "Help Desk" badge by having had 5 of their responses marked as correct answers! You're on your way

Most Talked About Thread

Suraj Tripathi created a thread hoping to Create a calculated dimension to see average sales over increments of time. Ashish Chaudhari, Sharad Adhikari and lenaic.ridinger stepped in to provide some help! However, with Suraj still using Tableau Desktop 8.3, the solution may not be feasible!

(One of the) Top Viewed Threads

While a few years old, this thread is still extremely popular due to the amount of people using both Tableau and Powerpoint: Export Dashboards to PowerPoint. In the thread Cathy Bridges needed a solution to get images of dashboards into powerpoint presentations. Ben Neville stepped in with a tabcmd workaround!

Top Voted Idea

Ron Eisenstein created the idea for the Ability to set default values for NULLs using data interpreter which was voted up by such illustrious Community members as Joshua Milligan! Personally, I think this is a great idea. If you agree, vote it up!

That's it for this week! I hope everyone has a great week :-)
