Hope everyone had a great weekend and for those of you in the US, a happy Thanksgiving! It was a short week for me, but there was still plenty of activity happening around the community. Let's take a look.

This Friday afternoon, the Tableau Community will be going through an upgrade. The upgrade will be a whole new look and some additional functionality. We're pretty excited about it! To see what changes to expect, check out the posts tagged with communityupgrade.

The site will be down from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM Pacific time. Our apologies in advance for any inconvenience this will cause.

Been waiting for the next TDT? Well, we've got one scheduled for this Thursday - Think Data Thursday: @Mapbox Powered #GeospatialLove with Anya A'hearn, allan.walker.0, and Chris Toomey. This will be a great introduction into using Mapbox if you've never used it before, and if you have, it will be a great session to see the possibilities that are possible.

If you still haven't participated, it's not too late to say what data means to you and how it can be applied across languages,

Top Voted Idea

Michelle Schmidt joined the community and created the idea Add a waterfall chart to the show me drop down just last week. Already, it made it to the top of the votes for the week - with 13 votes. If this idea was implemented, I think we'd start seeing a lot more waterfall charts out there!
