Are you planning a meal for Thanksgiving?

So Turkey is main dish for most everyone according to a FiveThirtyEight but what to serve with that bird?

Zen master Pooja Gandhi created this viz last year to help you see the most popular sides and deserts:

I don't know about you but our family's favorite marshmallow jello salad seems to be missing.  Are you ready for the big day?

Most Talked about Thread

**This is determined by the number of replies on a thread

Francesca Grisanti posted Compare single ids as days go by on November 7th.  Community Ambassador Norbert Maijoor replied to the question with a request for a detailed workbook to help see and understand the data structure.  And an hour later, Norbert supplied a reply with the marked correct answer by utilizing LOD calculations to find the Min and max dates.  That was a good start but after some investigation, Francesca found that the solution did not fully work for her.  Norbert and Francesca had some more back and forth before Shinichiro Murakami was called in to evaluate the issue.   Shin was able to find the final solution and get it to work using Table Calculations.

The top liked forum question this week comes from Raghu Gadiraju in the question Populating parameter values based on a query.  The solution provided by Vinnie Ahuja uses a query to bring in the values from another data source as a table that can then be set as the values to a Parameter from the 'Set from Field' option of the Parameter.   In addition, the request for a more straight forward solution was identified in an existing idea where it was suggested to vote up the idea.

Top Voted Idea

The idea to have configure number formatting from within a calculated field was originally created by Russell Lamb in 2012.  This idea received 6 votes last week.  Thank you for your voting contributions.
